Carobock

We were inspired to create our own iteration of a Bavarian-style Weizenbock, a style known for being rich and malty with notes of chocolate, bananas and toasted malt. Ours was styled to be a play on a ‘chocolate covered banana,’ so we selected toasted carob pods to provide intense, earthy chocolate flavors and rounded out by aging on Madagascar vanilla beans. Brewed with malted wheat, dark Munich malt and chocolate wheat, and fermented with a traditional weizen yeast to boost the banana and spice notes that typify the style.
