Summer is a time for fun in the sun with family and friends. Until it’s time to eat! For the days where it’s too hot to think about standing over a grill or preparing a meal for a family of 4 (or more), you can still get your barbeque fix at Dogfish. Keep it light with a salad or saucy with Alehouse Ribs– everyone in the family can get the tangy, sweet flavor just the way they want it.
Greens with a Twist
Get your greens with a kick. The Alehouse Fried Chicken Salad takes crispy greens to a crunchy level. Crispy chicken bites are tossed in ranch dressing with fresh mixed greens, cucumbers, corn, and red onions. Top that with candied pecan pieces and drizzled with BBQ sauce to really bring out the flavors. Lastly, we add a few onions rings for an off-centered but tasty twist.
Make It Simple
When you think barbeque, you probably think grilled. We combine two wood-grilled four-ounce patties and baste them with BBQ sauce. Top it with cheddar cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, and fried onion rings. Wood grilled buns brushed with BBQ-ranch sauce take it home!
The Falls Church Burger of the Week brings together beef and pork in a Double Pork BBQ Burger. A half pound burger patty with cheddar cheese, bacon, Raison D’Etra BBQ Pulled Pork is topped with topped with house made coleslaw.
For a limited time on the Fairfax Daily Specials Menu, we have the must-try BBQ Pizza. This is a new level of pizza that will have you thinking, “why doesn’t everyone make this?!”
Pass the Napkins
Our main fares come with plenty of napkins! Whether chicken or ribs, both are flavor packed with BBQ sauce. Our Memphis Chicken Platter is perfect for the eager and hungry. Wood grilled chicken breasts are basted with a sweet BBQ sauce and topped with ale battered onion rings – but don’t forget to save room for your sides. Served with beach fries and homemade cole slaw, the only thing left to do is pair it with an Indian Brown Ale. Our Alehouse Ribs are the ultimate barbeque offering. One and a half pounds of baby back ribs slowly cooked in house with a sweet and spicy chili rub covered with BBQ Sauce. If you think that’s too much, we have a half rack option too. The finishing touch is pairing these baby backs with a Raison D’Etre.
Tossed in, drizzled, basted, or dipped. Barbeque isn’t just a flavor, it is a summer staple. We have your easy fix.
